Chase in Columbus seeks a Business Solutions Area Manager (Vice President) to lead a team of Business Solutions Bankers, manage a diverse portfolio, and deliver client-focused financial solutions.

The role emphasizes relationship building, risk management, and profitability; requires 7+ years in business banking, strong leadership, and advanced knowledge of deposits, cash management, and credit underwriting; travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a business banking relationship management role or related experience.
• Prior experience managing a team responsible for strengthening client relationships.
• Proven ability to lead proactively through change.
• Expert knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services, and advanced knowledge of business credit underwriting.
• Maintain strong communication skills with individuals at all levels internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management, support, direction and guidance to a team of Business Solutions Bankers (BSBs) to develop deposit, cash management, and credit business; and focus on relationship-building, client experience, and risk management.
• Identify, recommend, and promote solutions that best serve the client while working within risk parameters that protect the bank and portfolio profitability.
• Train, coach, and manage the performance of individual team members, using reporting and metrics to monitor performance and trends.
• Actively recruit and promote diversity and inclusion; maintain a pipeline of viable candidates and engage in Chase activities to show site leadership.
• Coach and develop the team on managing a portfolio including relationship management, profitability, and risk management; develop customized solutions.
