Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Vice President to lead the Board & Strategy Programs within Fidelity Philanthropic Services in Durham, NC.

You will align board strategy with FPS and Fidelity's objectives, oversee boards, and drive efficient governance across multiple entities including Fidelity Charitable, Signature DAF, and PIF. The role requires deep nonprofit and board leadership experience, executive presence, and strong program management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 15 years nonprofit, board leadership, and/or financial services experience.
• Executive presence to support trustees and Fidelity executives.
• Strategic relationships management experience.
• Strong project management skills across multiple work streams.
• Ability to work under pressure in a high-profile environment.
• Knowledge of Convene platforms preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 4–6 boards and manage relationships with independent trustees and directors.
• Plan and manage end-to-end board meetings for Fidelity Charitable and Signature DAF.
• Coordinate board calendars and ensure trustees have required information.
• Develop and maintain board agendas and strategic items.
• Identify improvement opportunities for board guidelines and processes.
• Oversee strategic programs to drive efficiency across boards.
• Provide feedback to presenters before and after meetings.
• Serve as primary contact for internal partners and trustees.
• Escalate board matters to senior leadership as needed.
