Job summary

Hemab Therapeutics is seeking a Vice President of Biometrics to lead Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, and Data Science across its portfolio. The role reports to the CMO Chief of Staff and shapes strategy from early development through regulatory submissions.

You will drive statistical judgement in trial design, endpoints, and estimands, partnering across Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs to advance Hemab’s programmatic decisions.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Statistics/Biostatistics with extensive pharma/biotech industry experience.
• Significant leadership experience in Biostatistics/ Biometrics within biotech or pharmaceutical clinical development.
• Deep statistical expertise with a track record shaping clinical development strategy.

Responsibilities

• Set and own Hemab’s Biometrics strategy across the portfolio, aligning statistics with patient-centric development and regulatory goals.
• Shape clinical development from early stage through registration, guiding trial design, endpoints and estimands.
• Lead statistical strategy for development, ensuring rigorous, pragmatic approaches for small patient populations.
• Represent Hemab’s evidence with health authorities and lead regulatory interactions.
• Lead and grow Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, and Data Science to scale with portfolio growth.
• Strengthen portfolio decisions by distinguishing signal from noise and quantifying uncertainty.
