Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Biometrics to lead the scientific direction and delivery of the Clinical Development portfolio, coordinating biostatistics, programming, and data management to support R&D registrational goals.

The role reports to the VP, Data & Analytics and shapes the Biometrics strategy, governance, and external interactions, while guiding a high-performing team towards timely, compliant outcomes across the BioMetrics function.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Biostatistics or similar discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of industry experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership responsibilities required.
• Up to 15% travel is required based upon business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight and technical/scientific direction to the Biometrics organization.
• Oversee biostatistics, clinical programming and clinical data management pillars and align with pillar leaders for integrated delivery.
• Participate in portfolio governance and provide strategic direction based on regulatory guidance and business needs.
• Build and drive the digital approach for clinical data across traditional and digital capture mechanisms.
