Job summary

LPL Financial in Austin, TX seeks a VP, AWS Support to lead the 24x7 Tier 1/2 production support for the AWS landing zone, guiding strategy, architecture, and operations while delivering automation and incident leadership. Qualifications

10+ years of progressive technical experience including 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering leadership.
5+ years of hands-on production AWS at scale in a multi-account landing zone.
3+ years experience as a direct people manager of engineering teams.
5+ years experience leading 24x7 production on-call rotations with incident command.
3+ years leading a 24x7 Tier 1/2 cloud operations or cloud support function with automation focus.

Responsibilities

Lead 24x7 Tier 1/2 production support for the AWS landing zone.
Own inbound ticket triage from application teams with SLAs and escalation paths.
Automate repeatable requests via Account Factory for Terraform and private module library.
Own runbook authorship, incident response, and post-incident improvements.
Lead change‑management execution and cross-team collaboration with Foundations/Delivery.
