Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a VP Cloud Delivery Architect to lead the design of reliable, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure. You will guide architecture decisions, ensure alignment with security and compliance, and collaborate with agile teams to drive cloud initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include acting as AWS SME, developing reference architectures, and driving automation and capacity planning across multiple platforms. Strong AWS and IaC experience required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud architecture design experience.
• 7+ years hands-on AWS expertise deploying applications.
• 7+ years creating architecture diagrams and documentation.
• 7+ years documenting build specifications in Excel.
• 7+ years designing with AWS services (EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ELB, RDS, Kafka, SQS, Redis, Redshift, API Gateway).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and teams to capture business and technical requirements for infrastructure design.
• Analyze existing application infrastructure to understand platform capabilities.
• Serve as AWS security and IAM SME for roles, policies, and permissions.
• Provide architectural guidance for AWS services and reference architectures.
• Participate in roadmap planning and agile delivery with stakeholders.
• Support delivery metrics and automate opportunities for efficiency.
