By the Sea Resorts in Panama City Beach seeks a seasoned Vice President of Operations & Asset Performance to drive disciplined execution across its hospitality portfolio. This is an execution role focused on asset condition, margin improvement, labor discipline, and maintenance performance.

You’ll institutionalize systems, enforce standards, tighten labor models, protect capital, and deliver measurable performance improvements property by property, with a 5-year CapEx roadmap and portfolio-wide

Qualifications

• 10+ years in hotel operations with increasing leadership scope.
• Multi-property leadership experience (regional/area operations; multi-unit oversight)
• Proven ability to improve margins through labor, maintenance, and operational controls
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, labor management, variance control
• Willingness to travel regularly across multiple properties

Responsibilities

• Deliver a 5-year CapEx roadmap with property-by-property plan within 90 days.
• Establish a standardized preventative maintenance program portfolio-wide.
• Stabilize engineering operations with clear KPIs and accountability.
• Standardize housekeeping productivity models tied to occupancy and CPOR targets.
• Improve portfolio GOP margins through labor, purchasing, and scheduling discipline.
• Implement vendor contract governance with SLA tracking and renewals discipline.
• Enforce GM accountability through monthly performance reviews and action plans.
• Drive a culture of structured execution with SOP adoption and KPI dashboards.
• Assist ownership in renovation and repositioning oversight with scope control and budgeting.
