Job summary

Hendricks Commercial Properties in Indianapolis seeks a Vice President of Asset Management to lead a defined portfolio's performance, strategy, and value growth. You will oversee underwriting, acquisitions, dispositions, and cross-functional partnerships to align with company objectives.

You'll mentor Asset Managers, guide capital deployment and leasing strategies, and report to senior leadership on market trends and portfolio risks. This is a leadership role driving significant community impact.

Qualifications

8-12+ years of asset management or related real estate experience
Experience with underwriting, financial modeling, and investment analysis
Experience leading teams and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

Own the portfolio's Revenue, NOI, and value growth.
Develop and execute asset-level and portfolio-level business plans.
Lead value creation through leasing, capital deployment, redevelopment, and expense optimization.
Guide underwriting, financial modeling, investment memoranda and hold/sell analyses.
Make portfolio decisions within budget and strategic frameworks.
Lead, mentor, and develop Asset Managers.
Partner with Leasing, Real Estate Management, Development, Finance and Legal teams.
Monitor portfolio performance, market trends, risks, and opportunities; report to senior leadership.
