Job summary

American Mortgage Investment Partners Management, LLC seeks a Vice President of Asset Management to lead the asset management department for distressed residential portfolios (NPL/RPL/REO) in Seal Beach, CA.

The role oversees third-party servicers, loss mitigation strategies, and nationwide foreclosure, bankruptcy and litigation efforts, ensuring compliant, efficient management of assets and reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of residential NPL/RPL asset management experience, with supervisory responsibility
• Direct experience overseeing third-party mortgage servicers from investor/owner side
• Hands-on management of foreclosure, bankruptcy, and litigation counsel nationwide
• Expertise in loan retention options and non-retention options with NPV-based decisioning
• Working knowledge of CFPB, state, and agency mortgage servicing regulations
• Strong Excel and financial/NPV modeling skills; ability to analyze large loan-level data
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, or related field

Responsibilities

• Portfolio & Servicing Oversight – oversight of asset management decisioning and servicer monitoring.
• Loss mitigation workouts and exit strategies; manage workouts and settlements.
• Oversee Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Litigation and Diligence nationwide.
• Vendor management within Asset Management; select and supervise vendors.
• Ensure compliance program with SEC, CFPB and mortgage regulations.
• Lead and develop Asset Management team; recruit and train staff.
• Improve operational efficiency with processes and technology.
