Job summary

US Oncology Inc. is seeking a Vice President, ASC Operations to lead a growing ambulatory surgery center portfolio, focusing on clinical, operational, and financial performance.

The role partners with ASC Facility Administrators, Medical Directors, and leaders to drive performance, consistency, and sustainable growth while reducing on-site administrative burden through data, tools, and automation. The position oversees 7 ASCs (currently) with hybrid on-site work and 50% travel in the Northeast

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive ASC or surgical services operations experience
Proven success in P&L management, operational improvement, and growth initiatives
Strong partnership with physicians and clinical staff
Leadership, communication, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Own portfolio-level P&L performance, including EBITDA / AOP and cost per case
Create dashboards, KPI reviews, and performance management routines
Drive improvements in OR utilization, scheduling efficiency, and patient flow
Partner with Medical Directors to ensure regulatory compliance and clinical quality
Drive case volume growth through physician engagement and service line expansion
Develop capital and strategic investment plans aligned with growth objectives
Build scalable leadership structures and succession planning
