The Application Support Lead Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.

Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, involving weighing various alternatives and balancing conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are essential. Regularly assumes informal or formal leadership roles within teams, coaching and training new recruits. The individual has a significant impact on project size, geography, and decision-making by influencing others through advice, counsel, and support services in their area of specialization. The performance of all teams in the area is directly affected by this individual's performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and business support for users of Citi Applications, ensuring quick resolution of issues and driving stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements.
• Maintain application systems that are in daily operations, post-development.
• Manage, support, and maintain applications and their environments, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against SLAs.
• Perform start-of-day checks, continuous monitoring, and regional handovers.
• Conduct same-day risk reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain technical support documentation.
• Identify ways to maximize application potential.
• Assess risks and impacts of production issues and escalate as needed.
• Ensure storage and archiving procedures are in place and effective.
• Define scope and objectives for complex application enhancements and problem resolutions.
• Review and develop contingency plans for applications.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to prioritize bug fixes and tooling needs.
• Participate in application releases, from development to deployment.
• Engage in post-implementation analysis to ensure system success.
• Identify and communicate risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
• Follow established procedures and define operating standards.
• Act as liaison between users, internal technology groups, and vendors.
• Raise problems to appropriate teams while adhering to SLAs.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to junior staff.
