Job Description:

The Data Analytics Lead Analyst VP participates in and directs the development, support, and delivery of internal and external reporting, data control testing, report validation, and presentation support for the Internal Audit team, which audits the Chief Operating Office (COO), including the Enterprise Data Office and Data Management.

Responsibilities:

1. Gather operational data from cross-functional stakeholders to analyze past business performance.
2. Identify data patterns and trends; provide insights to enhance business decision-making, planning, process improvement, and solution assessment.
3. Recommend actions for future developments, strategic opportunities, and operational policy enhancements.
4. Engage in exploratory, confirmatory, and qualitative data analyses as needed.
5. Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to inform targeting and segmentation strategies; communicate findings effectively to business partners and senior leaders.
6. Continuously improve processes by exploring new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
7. Collaborate with internal and external partners to build, implement, track, and improve decision strategies.
8. Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and uphold ethical standards.
9. Leverage data science techniques (statistics, NLP, ML, AI) to identify data quality issues and governance weaknesses.
10. Serve as the lead analyst for reviews and lead project teams as required.
11. Develop strong relationships with management to understand business needs.
12. Demonstrate sound judgment, cultural sensitivity, and political astuteness.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of experience in reporting or analytics roles.
• Experience as an Operations Research Analyst, Analytics Manager, or similar, supporting financial services.
• Proficiency in analyzing large datasets using mathematical, statistical, and quantitative techniques.
• Senior-level experience with scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, managing multiple high-quality deliverables.
• Strong interpersonal skills for management interface.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Degree in Analytics, Data Science, MIS, Mathematics, Computer Science, or IT preferred.

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States

Salary Range: $113,840 - $170,760
