Job summary

Citi in Chennai, Hybrid work model, seeks a senior Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst (VP) to drive complex software initiatives and align them with Citi’s architecture. You will guide senior teams, ensure robust design, and manage risk within a global banking environment.

The role requires deep experience in development plus strong leadership and communication skills. This position is a high-responsibility leadership role within Citi's technology organization.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure integration of functions and define necessary system enhancements.
• Resolve high impact problems by evaluating complex business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure adherence to architecture blueprint.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
• Understand how business areas like architecture and infrastructure integrate to meet goals.
• Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Serve as advisor to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies.
