Job summary

TPG is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build analytics solutions from ingestion through modeling to delivery. This role sits within our Analytics Engineering team and translates raw data into trusted, decision-ready insights using Power BI and Databricks AI/BI.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in data analytics, BI development, or data engineering, with strong SQL Server, Power BI, and data modeling skills, plus ETL/ELT across SQL, APIs, SaaS, and Data Lake Storage.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, BI development, or data engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong expertise with SQL Server, Power BI, Excel, and AI/BI tools.
Experience with data modeling and ETL/ELT across SQL, APIs, SaaS platforms, and Data Lake Storage.
Familiarity with PySpark, Delta Lake, and Medallion architecture concepts is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Build reliable, scalable data solutions delivering trusted datasets and semantic layers.
Drive evolution of data solutions with AI-enabled tools to modernize workflows.
Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using Power BI and Databricks AI/BI.
Maintain ETL/ELT frameworks across SQL, APIs, SaaS, and Data Lake Storage.
Implement transformation logic using PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake in Medallion architecture.
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and front-office to meet reporting needs.
Ensure data quality, reconciliation, and audit readiness across sources.
Document data flows, models, and pipelines for knowledge continuity.
