Qualifikationen

• Deep knowledge of investment ops and lifecycles.
• Experience with CRE loans and/or structured credit; familiarity with bonds, repo, CLOs.

• Strong controls, data quality, and exception management.
• Advanced Excel skills for large data sets and complex models.

Aufgaben

• Oversee and support the execution of commercial real estate loan, bond, repo, CLO, and other investment settlement activities.
• Manage IBOR activities, including transaction booking, position maintenance, cash activities, and security master data.
• Investigate and resolve transaction, settlement, position, cash, and reconciliation discrepancies by working closely with internal teams and external parties.
• Assist in launching new entities, opening bank and custody accounts, and managing KYC/AML and onboarding processes.
• Prepare, review, and approve periodic reconciliations with internal systems and external service providers.
• Maintain robust operational controls, procedures, documentation, and escalation processes.
• Lead, train, and develop junior team members while actively participating in daily operations.
• Act as a key operations partner to various teams, including investment, finance, treasury, legal, and technology.
• Identify operational risks, process gaps, and inefficiencies, driving issues to resolution.
• Implement process improvements using technology, automation, and AI where applicable.
• Participate in the implementation of new systems, products, counterparties, and operating processes as the platform grows.

• In-depth knowledge of investment operations and transaction lifecycles, including trade booking, funding, settlement, position management, cash movements, and reconciliations.
• Experience with commercial real estate loans and/or structured credit products; familiarity with bonds, repo, CLOs, or similar instruments is preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of operational issues, and resolve detailed problems.
• Experience mentoring and training junior team members, with potential for broader leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of operational controls, reconciliations, data quality, and exception management.
• Advanced Excel skills, including handling large datasets, complex reconciliations, and financial or operational models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with various teams and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Interest in leveraging technology, automation, and AI to enhance operational processes and controls.
