Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a senior AI engineering leader in New York to design and build AI-powered applications for investment banking workflows, including pitch decks, CIM drafting, and market surveillance. You will own data sourcing, LLM integration, backend logic, and user interfaces, iterating with bankers to deliver value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in investment banking, corporate finance, or related financial services role.
• Fluency in IB deal processes including pitch construction, CIM prep, and capital markets execution.
• Hands-on experience architecting and deploying LLM-based solutions and context pipelines.
• Full-stack prototyping with data sources, backend logic, and user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered applications for IB workflows (pitch decks, CIM drafting, diligence summarization, client research, market surveillance).
• Own data sourcing, LLM integration, backend logic, and user-facing interfaces; prototype rapidly with banker feedback.
• Integrate with FactSet, PitchBook, SEC EDGAR, and internal databases for context-aware insights.
• Establish standards, architectural guidelines, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails for production-grade results.
• Collaborate with coverage groups to translate tasks into AI problems and guide AI strategy.
