Job summary
HP, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Apps to lead a large global engineering organization focused on software stacks behind HP’s customer-facing applications, services, and solutions.
The role champions AI-enabled experiences and a platform engineering model across product development, delivery, and operations. Reporting to the CTO, Software, the VP will partner with C-level executives to drive HP’s software-led transformation, enterprise-scale production systems, and an engineering culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- 15+ years of engineering experience, including 8+ years in senior people management.
- Experience leading global software engineering teams serving multiple internal customers and driving impact on millions of users or $100M+ businesses.
- Proven ability to build high-performing, diverse engineering teams and improve efficiency.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern AI-native software development.
