Job summary

Archer, in partnership with BlackRock, is seeking a senior AI/ML leader to influence design and deployment of production AI systems at scale in Atlanta. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape architecture for generative AI, agents, and optimization, and partner with risk, data, and engineering to deliver impact.

Candidates should have extensive software engineering and ML deployment experience, with Docker/Kubernetes, Python, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

12+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
6+ years deploying AI/ML or model-driven apps in production.
Strong Python skills and maintained production-grade software.
Strong SQL skills and data-intensive workflows.
Experience designing APIs, data pipelines, or distributed systems for AI/ML.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Proven ability to lead complex technical solutions end-to-end.
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership, set architectural direction, and drive design decisions across multidisciplinary teams.
Design, build, and operate production AI/ML systems including generative AI and agents.
Develop reusable AI platforms, services, and infrastructure for experimentation and deployment.
Translate AI capabilities into scalable, measurable business impact.
Define evaluation, testing, and observability for AI systems, including agentic apps.
Optimize AI workloads for latency, throughput, and cost; ensure security and reliability.
