Job summary

Harris Computer’s MEDHOST division seeks a technology executive to lead software engineering and advance AI strategy across the product and platform portfolio. You will build high-performing teams, execute the technology strategy, and drive an AI-first innovation approach within AI-DLC and product lines.

Responsibilities include delivering product value, aligning with executives, and governing AI initiatives while expanding cloud, APIs, and enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive technology experience with 8+ years in software engineering leadership and 5+ years in senior leadership.
• 3-5+ years’ experience with EHR and healthcare software environments.
• Proven track record modernizing and transforming software platforms.
• Deep expertise in modern software engineering practices, distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience implementing AI and ML capabilities within enterprise products and AI-DLC workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing software engineering organization responsible for product delivery and security.
• Improve delivery predictability, developer productivity, software quality, and efficiency while balancing modernization and commitments.
• Partner with executive leadership to translate strategy into technology priorities and investments.
• Establish KPIs to measure progress, AI adoption, and business impact.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to create competitive advantage through innovation.
• Advise executives on technology opportunities, risks, and industry trends.
