Job summary

Vizient, Inc. seeks an Associate Vice President, Strategic Growth & Market Opportunity to lead the AI-enabled assessment of growth opportunities across the Strategic Market Research & Industry Insights function.

The role includes coordinating cross-functional teams, defining scope and evidence, and delivering decision-ready insights for prioritization and execution. You will drive opportunity identification from multiple sources, build repeatable workflows, and hand off prioritized opportunities

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare industry and its stakeholders.
Experience leading healthcare growth strategy and market opportunity assessments.
Ability to translate ambiguous requests into clearly defined opportunity hypotheses and workplans.

Responsibilities

Design, lead and improve the growth-opportunity assessment process.
Serve as primary accountable lead for integrated opportunity assessments.
Assess organizational connectivity across opportunities and partners.
Coordinate contributions from Market & Client Research, Competitive Intelligence, and internal teams.
Develop comparable assessments based on client need, market attractiveness and trajectory.
Apply a decision framework to facilitate leadership decisions on growth initiatives.
Establish AI-enabled assessment workflows and maintain the opportunity pipeline for senior leadership.
