Job summary

Caris Life Sciences seeks a Vice President of Data Science to lead AI-driven clinical insights and predictive modeling from a large clinico-genomic database. You will oversee a diverse team of data scientists, computational biologists, and translational researchers, delivering rigorous, clinically meaningful AI innovations.

Collaboration with Regulatory, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams is essential to translate discoveries into scalable clinical reporting.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a related field.
• 10+ years of supervised/unsupervised ML experience.
• Experience with multi-omics and clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute AI-driven clinical insight strategy across profiling platforms.
• Identify clinically relevant questions for prognostic or predictive insights.
• Oversee AI signature development integrating genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and clinical data.
• Establish governance for model development, validation, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Regulatory and Clinical Development to validate evidence.
• Lead deployment of AI products within CAP/CLIA environment.
• Oversee AI pipelines in clinical reporting infrastructure.
• Build interpretable reporting frameworks for physicians.
• Partner with Product/Commercial to integrate AI in reports.
