Testing Site - JPMC leads an AI Agents Applied Research/Engineering team in the Digital Team, shaping how millions of customers interact with financial tasks through multi-step conversations. You will own end-to-end lifecycle of LLM-based agents, define research directions in planning, tool use, and safety, and partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Risk to bring these systems to market.

Qualifications

• PhD with 1+ years or MS with 3+ years building AI systems in production.
• Applied GenAI experience with LLMs including fine-tuning, prompts, and RAG.
• Experience scaling LLM systems with caching, batching, governance, evaluation.
• Strong ML foundation and experimental design; production mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and deployment of agentic AI systems with multi-step workflows, tool calling, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Fine-tune and optimize LLMs using PEFT, distillation, and quantization for latency, memory, and cost.
• Apply reinforcement learning to improve personalization and dialogue policies.
• Scale LLM systems through caching, batching, prompt governance, and evaluation frameworks.
• Implement privacy, safety, and security controls including PCI compliance and auditability.
• Design rigorous experiments with strong baselines and meaningful metrics.
• Define and track success metrics for agent performance, including task completion rate and customer satisfaction.
