Job summary

gpac is seeking a Vice President, Ag/Commercial Loan Officer to evaluate loan applications, confirm credit worthiness, and guide applicants through requirements. The role involves approving loans or routing to a loan committee and assisting customers with questions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Ag or Commercial Loan Officer.
• Leadership aspirations and qualities.
• Strong credit experience and business development mindset.
• Loyal and hard-working with a team first mentality.
• Ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.
• Familiarity with sales, commercial loan processing and closing processes.
• Working knowledge of the Agricultural industry.
• Ability to multi-task quickly and effectively.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and documentation for credit worthiness.
• Inform applicants of additional requirements and improve documentation.
• Approve loans by issuing checks or forwarding to loan committee.
• Answer questions and assist customers; support portfolio growth.
