Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a strategic leader for account-based payments network strategy and advocacy in New York. You will shape multi-year plans, influence networks and industry forums, and translate input into actionable priorities across product, risk and controls.

You will partner with business and control functions to align priorities, drive governance, and present executive recommendations. The role emphasizes consensus-building in a matrixed environment and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in payments, consulting, strategy, or related fields.
• Experience with ACH, P2P, instant payments, open banking, or network governance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year strategies across account-based payments.
• Lead enterprise engagement with payment networks and rails.
• Govern program cadence and governance activities.
• Build strategic relationships with networks, banks, fintechs, and merchants.
• Represent the firm in governance forums and standards bodies.
• Develop advocacy positions on emerging topics (e.g., ACH modernization, open banking).
• Collaborate with product, technology, risk, legal, and finance to deliver initiatives.
• Lead a team responsible for strategic analysis, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare executive-level communications and decision materials.
• Monitor market, regulatory, and competitive developments.
