Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a senior ABS Due Diligence professional to lead comprehensive collateral, operational, and regulatory assessments across financing and securitization transactions in New York City. The candidate will interact with originators, servicers, lenders, auditors, and legal counsel to deliver independent risk analyses.

The role emphasizes identifying collateral and process risks, challenging assumptions, and communicating findings to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in due diligence, structured finance, ABS, asset-based financing, collateral risk management, or related fields.
• Strong experience reviewing AUP reports, operational audits, collateral examinations, and third-party diligence reviews.
• Experience evaluating borrowing bases, collateral eligibility criteria, asset verification testing, and financing covenant compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present findings to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence reviews for asset-based financing facilities, warehouse lending transactions, portfolio acquisitions, and securitizations.
• Review and assess third-party AUP reports, audit reports, collateral examinations, and verification testing.
• Evaluate collateral eligibility, ownership, perfection, borrowing base methodologies, concentration limits, and components of the financing package.
• Prepare and present due diligence reports, key findings, and risk assessments to banking, trading, financing, and risk management teams.
• Monitor financing facilities for covenant compliance, collateral performance, and emerging risks.
