Job summary

G2 Ocean in Atlanta seeks an experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee vessel and voyage operational activities within the region and maximise voyage efficiency.

You will lead the Operations team, coordinate with Chartering and Regional Operations, ensure safety, compliance, and cost control, and drive high-performance execution across all voyages in your area. Travel to port operations and supplier meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in shipping operations, preferably in dry bulk/break-bulk.
• Experience in senior operations roles and voyage management.
• Certificate: Chief Officer/Master or equivalent shore qualifications is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality voyage management services.
• Supervise and coach Operators to achieve high-performing culture.
• Manage day-to-day operational activity and coordinate with Chartering Teams.
• Ensure voyages follow safety standards and legal requirements.
• Prepare reports and participate in supplier meetings as needed.
