Job summary

MF Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Canvass Lead to coordinate door-to-door voter-registration and community outreach in McAllen and the Rio Grande Valley. You will direct a canvass team, assign turf, brief staff, and ensure compliance while participating in fieldwork.

The role is hybrid with substantial in-person activity and requires leadership, efficient coordination, and accurate reporting in VAN/MiniVAN. Prior canvassing and bilingual skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in door-to-door canvassing or voter outreach.
• Ability to lead, train, coach, and monitor a canvassing team.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily canvassing activities and coordinate turf assignments.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, safety checks, and campaign updates.
• Distribute forms, literature, and digital devices; track results.
• Monitor field activity, provide coaching, and ensure data accuracy.
• Enter results into VAN/Min iVAN and generate reports.
• Maintain compliance and handle sensitive voter information.
• Engage communities with approved scripts and respectful conduct.
• Travel across McAllen and Rio Grande Valley for fieldwork as needed.
