Job summary

For Our Future Action Fund seeks motivated, outgoing Voter Contact Organizers to support canvassing in Platteville, Wisconsin. You will engage residents about the upcoming Wisconsin elections, meeting goals through door-to-door, SMS, and phone outreach.

This in-person role requires long hours, reliable transportation, and a commitment to safety; the position runs through at least Nov 4, 2026 and reports to the Regional Organizing Director.

Qualifications

• Campaign or voter contact experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are required.
• Ability to work long, irregular hours in a high-productivity, metrics-driven environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while managing multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong interpersonal communications skills.
• Bilingual experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage voters door-to-door and in diverse communities to inform and persuade on progressive issues.
• Perform daily voter contact via door, SMS, or phone to meet targets.
• Report daily on quantitative and qualitative metrics and ensure timely data entry.
• Table, canvass, and attend events to increase our presence in the community.
• Attend weekly calls and trainings and comply with safety protocols.
