Job summary

For Our Future Action Fund seeks motivated, outgoing Voter Contact Organizers to support our voter outreach efforts in La Crosse, Wisconsin. You will perform day-to-day canvassing in your assigned turf and talk with area residents about the upcoming Wisconsin elections.

Candidates should have familiarity with La Crosse, experience in campaigns or organizing, and the ability to work long hours with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Previous campaign or voter contact experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN or willingness to learn is preferred.
• Must have access to reliable transportation, a valid driver's license/insurance/registration and clean driving record for at least 1 year.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours in a high-productivity, metrics-driven environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Strong interpersonal communications skills.
• Bilingual experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage voters in meaningful conversations at doors in diverse communities to persuade, educate, and mobilize support for progressive candidates and issues.
• Perform voter contact door-to-door, SMS texting, or phone calls daily to meet goals.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly metrics and report data accurately.
• Table, canvass in high-traffic areas, and attend events to expand our presence.
• Assist with event execution and attend weekly calls and trainings.
