Job summary

For Our Future Action Fund seeks motivated, outgoing Voter Contact organizers to support voter outreach in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. You will perform day-to-day canvassing in your turf and engage residents about upcoming Wisconsin elections.

Candidates should have familiarity with Stevens Point, campaign or organizing experience, and reliable transportation. This is an in-person opportunity requiring a physical presence in the local community and/or office.

Qualifications

• Previous campaign or voter contact experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN or willingness to learn preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license/insurance/registration.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours in a metric-driven environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure while handling multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Strong interpersonal communications skills.
• Bilingual experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Door-to-door voter contact to persuade, motivate, and educate on progressive candidates.
• Daily voter contact via door knocking, SMS texting, or phone to meet goals.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly target metrics.
• Report daily on data Entry and reporting.
• Table at events and engage in high-traffic canvassing.
• Attend training and weekly calls.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols.
• Other duties may be assigned.
