You will read blueprints, verify dimensions, monitor throughput, and maintain quality while supporting downstream processes. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of saw/CNC experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 1+ years of industrial saw/CNC or similar equipment experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and production docs.
• Familiar with measurement tools and basic ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Voortman saw line safely and efficiently to meet production schedules.
• Read blueprints and cut lists; interpret work orders accurately.
• Verify first-piece dimensions using measuring devices.
• Monitor throughput, scrap, downtime, and quality metrics.
• Maintain TPM practices and equipment readiness; report issues promptly.
• Cross-train on adjacent equipment and support production needs.
