Job summary

Volvo Cars Orange County is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our premium dealership in Orange County. With two or more years of Volvo or high-line experience, you will diagnose, repair and replace automotive parts to factory standards while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will work closely with the parts department, document all work, and road-test vehicles when needed. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, and a team‑oriented mindset helps

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Volvo or high-line dealership experience.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and replace automotive parts per certified skill level.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders to dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with parts to obtain needed components.
• Inspect vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Notify service advisor if repairs cannot be completed on time.
• Document all work performed.
• Road-test vehicles as required or refer to lead technician for assistance.

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of Volvo or High Line Experience. Be able to perform diagnosis, repair and replacement of automotive parts and accessories according to technical certification and skill level.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform work as outlined on repair order accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is needed or required
• Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
• Document work performed
• Road‑test vehicles when required or refer to the lead technician for assistance.
