Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking substitute teachers who demonstrate Biblical knowledge and strong teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring, perceptive, and capable of engaging students.

Responsibilities include completing substitute teacher training, delivering LifeWise lessons, maintaining a safe and organized classroom, keeping attendance records, communicating with the teacher, and representing LifeWise

Qualifications

• Active church involvement with doctrine aligned to LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Statement of Faith.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement LifeWise lesson plans with provided curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, organized, engaging classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance and report records to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, well-ordered classroom; know emergency procedures.
• Act as LifeWise ambassador within the community; communicate plans with volunteers.
