Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain Records: Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher.
• Maintain Classroom: Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom; Know procedures for emergency situations.
• Communicate: Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community; Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties; Communicate with the teacher.
