The role includes training, delivering LifeWise lessons as needed, maintaining a safe and organized classroom, and coordinating with teachers and volunteers to ensure continuity of instruction.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide attendance logs to the teacher.
• Keep a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom; know emergency procedures.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community; communicate plans with volunteers and the teacher.
