Guilford College in Greensboro, NC seeks an Assistant to the softball coach to support all aspects of a Division III program. You will assist with day-to-day operations, practices, field setup, and instructional duties under the head coach's direction.

The role includes recruiting support, travel coordination, and handling related duties as assigned, contributing to a competitive, student-centered athletic environment.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience of at least 5 years required.
• Preferred: collegiate playing or previous collegiate/high school coaching experience of at least five years; strong work ethic and Division III environment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in day to day operations of the team and program.
• Assist in practice planning and softball field setup.
• Assist in positional instruction as defined by the head coach.
• Evaluate post-practice and game situations.
• Assist in recruiting.
• Coordinate team travel with head coach supervision.
• Other related duties as assigned.
