Job summary

Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland is seeking a site supervisor to support meal delivery operations in the Silver Spring area. The role involves coordinating volunteers, maintaining relationships with facility owners, and ensuring timely delivery of meals while addressing any issues.

You will train and schedule volunteers, recruit additional helpers, and work with the community to identify client needs. English fluency and a valid driver's license are required, with the ability to lift up to 40

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year's paid or volunteer experience supervising others or coordinating activities.
• Experience in working with volunteers desirable.
• Current driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of meals to clients and verify counts.
• Maintain relations with site owners and landlords.
• Train and supervise volunteers; manage schedules.
• Recruit additional clients and raise program awareness.
