Qualifications

  • Experience in volunteer services or healthcare nonprofit management preferred.

  • Ability to lead operations, planning and development of the department.

  • Staff and oversee operations for the Volunteer Services Department.
  • Provide direction and support to volunteers and staff.
  • Collaborate with the Guild to support fundraising and events.
  • Lead by example and foster service excellence and ethical standards.
  • Develop staffing plans to maximize resources and deliver excellent patient/customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards in healthcare.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate department policies and procedures.
  • Promote continuous improvement and staff development.
  • Act as liaison with Health Center and Volunteer Guild.
  • Support Guild fundraising initiatives and events.

Volunteer Services Director – Job Description

The Volunteer Services Director is responsible for staffing, operations, planning and development for the Volunteer Services Department. Provides direction and support to the volunteer services staff and works in collaboration with the Guild to support their efforts.

  • Serves as the liaison for the Health Center and Volunteer Guild.
  • Supports the fund raising activities of the Guild.
  • Assists in the planning and implementation of Guild sponsored activities and events.

Compensation

Estimated Compensation Range: $73,694.40 - $114,233.60 (Pay based on experience). Eligible for participation in Management Incentive Compensation Program.
