Job summary

Braven is seeking a part-time Volunteer Selection Specialist to review applications and interview candidates for volunteer roles. You will make selection recommendations and support the External Affairs team while updating Salesforce records.

The role is remote from GA, IL, NY, or NJ and ends in June 2027 with potential extension. Hours range from 15 to 28 per week, with some evenings and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience with hiring, interviewing, and/or recruiting.
• Ability to review and assess volunteers using rubrics.
• Experience handling confidential, sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and follow-through capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Review Leadership Coach and Professional Mentor applications using Braven’s rubric.
• Conduct and assess volunteer interviews via live Zoom or recorded submissions.
• Make selection recommendations grounded in established rubrics.
• Update Salesforce records and ensure data accuracy.
• Respond to inquiries and assist volunteer coordinators as needed.
