Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a full-time Volunteer Services Coordinator to develop, coordinate, and evaluate hospital-wide volunteer programs within a family-centered care model.

You will oversee recruitment, retention, and recognition of volunteers, maintain accurate records, and partner with community groups to expand volunteer opportunities. Strong MS Office skills and prior pediatric healthcare exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three or more years supervising volunteers and working with community volunteer groups.
• Three or more years experience with MS Suite applications, including presentations and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hospital-wide volunteer programs and activities.
• Coordinate placement, screening, interviewing, and training of volunteers.
• Maintain volunteer records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop retention and recognition programs for volunteers.
• Prepare management reports on volunteer activity and impact.
• Build partnerships with community organizations and corporations.
