Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced nursing leader to coordinate patient care services, workflow, and activities of nursing and support staff within the assigned program.

The role provides guidance, support, and direction to ensure developmentally appropriate, high-quality pediatric care in compliance with regulatory standards. The position collaborates with unit leadership to plan, implement, and monitor care delivery across the interdisciplinary team and serves as a

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Three years clinical practice experience required.
  • Experience with pediatric patient populations preferred.
  • Arizona RN license or compact state license required.
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care services, workflow, and activities of nursing and support staff.
  • Provide staff education on policies, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Identify and address risks, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions as per standards.
  • Maintain records for data collection and grant reporting.
  • Collaborate with unit leadership to plan, decide, and communicate with the healthcare team.
  • Serve as clinical role model and resource to staff, patients, and families.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience
Master's degree in Nursing
