Sholom is a mission-driven nonprofit in the Twin Cities seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, organize, and train volunteers and to support therapeutic recreation staffing.

This role requires strong office skills, interview and training ability, and partnership with professional staff to align volunteer services with organizational goals. It is a full-time daytime position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Two or more years of office administrative experience required.
• Strong competency in office technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, copier, fax).
• Experience in a long-term care setting and volunteer coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and interview volunteer candidates; orient finalists and train new volunteers.
• Provide volunteer schedules and conduct training; match opportunities to volunteers' skills.
• Act as single point of contact for volunteer communications and provide ongoing support.
• Collaborate with staff to plan, implement, and evaluate volunteer services; gather feedback.
