Job summary

Oregon Humane is seeking a Coordinator, Volunteer Engagement to manage daily operations of the Portland volunteer program. You will own scheduling, onboarding logistics, communications, and data accuracy, ensuring a welcoming experience for volunteers. You will partner with the Supervisor to support coaching, safety, and program adherence.

Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, off Mon/Tue. Responsibilities include customer service, data maintenance, volunteer lifecycle management, and event support to

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for volunteers, scheduling, onboarding, and program logistics.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records and data in the database system.
• Coordinate volunteer lifecycles from recruitment to retention and recognition.
• Produce weekly volunteer communications and newsletters.
