Job summary

SOLVE is seeking a dynamic Program Coordinator to advance volunteer programs, community partnerships, and event operations in downtown Portland. This role blends volunteer engagement, relationship management, and logistics coordination to enable successful projects across the region.

Reports to the Program Manager. Flexible schedule; full-time exempt. Starting salary ranges from $50,083.33 to $62,900 with comprehensive benefits and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteers and community outreach is helpful but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate systems and logistics to ensure projects are well-equipped and accessible.
• Support supply ordering, shipping, and local pickup.
• Build relationships with partner organizations to expand capacity and improve logistics.
• Lead or support staff-led cleanup and restoration events.
• Recruit and guide volunteers; ensure safety and clear communication.
• Handle event registrations and site planning; manage documentation.
• Assist with bi-weekly check processing and vehicle maintenance coordination.
