Humane Society of Vero Beach is seeking a dynamic, inclusive leader to develop a mission-focused volunteer program across the shelter, thrift shop, and community. You will work with all departments to grow meaningful volunteer roles and cultivate partnerships with volunteers, staff, and community members.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will design recruitment plans, coordinate onboarding and training, track volunteer data, recognize and develop volunteers for leadership, and

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of experience in community outreach or volunteer management.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Create and develop volunteer programs aligned with HSVB's mission and goals.
• Develop a recruitment plan and network with community groups.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and volunteer inventory management.
• Foster diverse, inclusive volunteer relationships and recognize staff and volunteers.
• Prepare reports and keep volunteer data/metrics.
• Serve as main contact for volunteers and respond to inquiries with compassion.
• Represent HSVB professionally in the community.
