Job summary

World Relief Western Washington is seeking a Volunteer Systems Specialist to support the Outreach Team with onboarding, data management, and reporting. This role helps volunteers join programs and tells their stories of impact through accurate data tracking.

The position focuses on onboarding, screening, data updates in Dynamics, and collaboration with Home Office to ensure policy alignment and effective volunteer engagement across WA communities.

• Flexible schedule for evening and weekend trainings/events.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years' experience with volunteer or program management.
• Experience with data management and reporting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate volunteer onboarding, data management and activities.
• Recruit volunteers based on current needs across WR departments.
• Review applications and lead volunteer training for new or returning volunteers.
• Process background checks and onboarding paperwork.
• Update volunteer data regularly in Dynamics database.
• Review and match records of volunteer hours and activities.
• Coordinate with World Relief Home Office on policies and resources.
• Develop and request volunteer training courses in collaboration with Home Office.
• Plan and facilitate meetings, events and quarterly trainings for volunteers.
• Collaborate with Outreach Team to adapt the program as needs change.
• Participate in Outreach Team meetings and promotional activities.
• Create program evaluation tools to measure impact.
