Responsibilities
Volunteer Manager

Supports operations by leading, managing, and coordinating agency volunteers. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, ongoing education, and assigning volunteers according to regulatory and state guidelines. Ensures the program meets standards set by regulatory bodies and company policies, reports on volunteer activities, and coordinates with patients and families for volunteer assignments. Maintains accurate documentation in compliance with standards.

Bereavement Coordinator

Supervises bereavement services, demonstrating proficiency in providing culturally sensitive support to diverse individuals. Develops and implements a Plan of Care addressing bereavement needs up to 13 months post-death, conducts supportive visits, leads grief support groups, and maintains detailed records. Provides compassionate, individualized care as evidenced by documentation and scores.

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree or work equivalent preferred
  • Experience in healthcare preferred
  • Experience working with people and proven management skills preferred
Skill Requirements
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • CPR certified, valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to transportation
  • Effective communication and positive attitude
  • Volunteer coordination and evaluation skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
  • Independent judgment and initiative
