Job summary

Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services (PCHAS) seeks a part-time Volunteer Coordinator to recruit and train Authorized Volunteers supporting our programs from home in Texas and beyond. • Experience working as a volunteer or serving a non-profit organization.

Responsibilities

• Recruit Authorized Volunteers and Volunteer Groups to teach life-skills to client-parents and to organize activities for families.
• Meet weekly with Senior Development Manager to discuss recruitment progress.
• Attend online meetings to learn about new areas needing support from volunteers and groups.
• Post and maintain volunteer opportunities on online boards and liaise with community/church groups to promote opportunities.
• Respond to calls and emails from prospective and current volunteers promptly.
