Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms, combining Bible knowledge with engaging instruction. Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and customize lesson plans.
• Invest in student relationships and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom environment and apply LifeWise policies.
• Take attendance and keep accurate class rosters; coordinate with school officials as needed.
• Prepare materials for substitutes and ensure class readiness.
• Promote LifeWise faith-based mission in all duties and interactions.
• Build relationships with volunteers and inform them of schedule changes.
