Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher to share gospel through Bible knowledge and engaging classroom instruction with public school students. Ideal candidates are active church members with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who care for students and model Christian faith.

The role requires at least two years of classroom teaching experience (school or church), and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Invest in building relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain organized, encouraging classroom and adhere to LifeWise policies.
• Maintain attendance records, class rosters and prepare substitutes as needed.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
